American Town Car — Terms & Conditions / Reservation Agreement

Effective for all reservations and services provided by American Town Car, Inc.

📅 Reservation Policy

  • Online reservations must be made at least 12 hours in advance of your scheduled pickup time.
  • If your reservation is within 12 hours, please call us directly at 503-530-9199 to check availability.
  • All accepted reservations are confirmed by email. If you do not receive a confirmation, your reservation is not valid. Check your spam/junk folder and contact us if needed.

✈️ Meeting Your Driver at PDX Airport

Unless you’ve requested a Meet & Greet inside the terminal:

  1. Proceed to baggage claim and collect your luggage.
  2. Exit baggage claim and walk to Island 3, near the taxi line, outside the terminal.
  3. Look for your name on the vehicle.

⏱️ Airport Pickup — Waiting Time Policy

  • If you cannot find your driver, call our office within 45 minutes of landing.
  • If no contact is made within 45 minutes, a no-show fee of 100% of the fare will apply.
  • ⚠️ Do not leave the airport without calling us to avoid no-show charges.

🚗 Extra Stops / Waiting Time Charges

Applies to all Flat Rate, Point-to-Point, and Airport Transfers:

  • Extra stops start at $25.00, and vary based on time, mileage, and vehicle.
  • For non-airport pickups, waiting time is free for the first 15 minutes.
  • After 15 minutes, waiting time is charged from the scheduled pickup time:
  • Sedan: $2.50/min
  • SUV / Mercedes S-Class: $3.50/min
  • 14-Passenger Van: $4.50/min
  • A minimum $25 surcharge applies to pickups or drop-offs between 10:30 PM and 5:30 AM.

🚫 Conduct & Damage Policy

  • The client is responsible for all guests and any damage caused to the vehicle.
  • Minimum $395 fee applies for excessive cleaning (e.g. vomit, spills, etc.).
  • Misconduct or dangerous behavior may result in immediate termination of service with no refund.
  • If damage is caused, the credit card on file will be charged after a full assessment.
  • Cleaning is performed by American Town Car. Receipts are not provided.

👜 Personal Belongings

  • We are not responsible for lost or left-behind items.
  • Call us at 503-530-9199 as soon as possible, and we will make every effort to locate your belongings.

🚘 Vehicle Substitution Policy

  • We reserve the right to upgrade or change your vehicle at our discretion to fulfill your reservation.
  • Please request specific vehicle types or accommodations at the time of booking.

🐾 Pets

  • All pets must be in a secured carrier.
  • $295 cleaning fee will be charged if pets are transported without a carrier.
  • No receipts are provided for cleaning services.

🚭 No Smoking or Alcohol

  • Smoking and alcohol consumption are strictly prohibited in all vehicles.
  • Violations will incur:
  • $500 sanitation fee
  • $2500 minimum per burn or damage to carpet or seating

💵 Rates & Payments

  • All services are subject to vehicle availability at the time of booking.
  • Full payment is required at the time of reservation.

  • Reservations made within the cancellation window are fully non-refundable.

American Town Car is not responsible for delays due to:

  • Inclement weather
  • Traffic, road conditions, or accidents
  • Incorrect pickup/drop-off details
  • Mechanical issues or other circumstances beyond our control
