American Town Car Terms & Conditions / Reservation Agreement

Effective Date: Applicable to all reservations and services provided by American Town Car, Inc

All cancellations and changes must be submitted via email to info@americantowncar.net or by calling 503-530-9199. For general inquiries, visit www.americantowncar.net.

All accepted reservations will be confirmed via email. If you do not receive a confirmation email, your reservation is not valid. Please check your spam or junk folder and contact us if necessary.

1. Meeting Your Driver at PDX Airport

Unless a Meet & Greet service inside the terminal has been specifically requested:

  1. Proceed to baggage claim to collect your luggage.
  2. Exit baggage claim and walk to Island 3, near the taxi line, outside the terminal.
  3. Locate your vehicle by looking for a sign displaying your name.

2. Airport Pickup Waiting Time Policy

  • If you cannot locate your driver, please contact our office within 45 minutes of your flight's scheduled landing time.
  • Failure to contact us within 45 minutes will result in a no-show fee equivalent to 100% of the total fare.
  • Do not leave the airport without contacting us to avoid no-show charges.

3. Extra Stops and Waiting Time Charges

The following charges apply to all Flat Rate, Point-to-Point, and Airport Transfer services:

  • Extra Stops: Starting at $25.00, with additional fees based on time, mileage, and vehicle type.
  • Waiting Time (Non-Airport Pickups): The first 15 minutes are complimentary. Thereafter, charges accrue as follows:
  • Sedan: $2.50 per minute
  • SUV / Mercedes S-Class: $3.50 per minute
  • 14-Passenger Van: $4.50 per minute
  • A minimum surcharge of $25.00 applies to all pickups or drop-offs between 10:30 PM and 5:30 AM.

4. Conduct and Damage Policy

  • The client is fully responsible for all passengers and any damage caused to the vehicle.
  • A minimum fee of $395.00 will be charged for excessive cleaning (e.g., vomit, spills, or similar incidents).
  • Misconduct or dangerous behavior may result in immediate termination of service without refund.
  • In the event of damage, the credit card on file will be charged following a complete assessment.
  • All cleaning services are performed by American Town Car, and receipts are not provided.

5. Personal Belongings

American Town Car is not responsible for lost, damaged, or left-behind personal items. If you believe you have left an item behind, please contact us immediately at 503-530-9199. We will make every reasonable effort to locate and return it.

6. Vehicle Substitution Policy

We reserve the right to substitute or upgrade vehicles at our discretion to fulfill your reservation. Specific vehicle types or accommodations should be requested at the time of booking.

7. Pets

  • All pets must be transported in a secured carrier.
  • A cleaning fee of $295.00 will be charged if pets are transported without a proper carrier.
  • Receipts for cleaning services are not provided.

8. No Smoking or Alcohol Policy

Smoking and alcohol consumption are strictly prohibited in all vehicles. Violations will result in the following charges:

  • $1500.00 sanitation fee.
  • Minimum $2,500.00 per incident for burns or damage to carpet or seating.

9. Rates and Payments

  • All services are subject to vehicle availability at the time of booking.
  • Full payment is required at the time of reservation.
  • Service Fee: A 25% service fee will be applied to all reservations to cover administrative costs, fuel, and mileage.
  • Out-of-Area Pickups: For any pickup location outside the Portland metropolitan area, additional travel charges will apply.

10. Cancellation Policy

To ensure service quality and availability, the following cancellation terms apply. Cancellations must be submitted via email to info@americantowncar.net.

Reservations made within the required cancellation window are fully non-refundable.

11. Service Disclaimer

American Town Car is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Inclement weather;
  • Traffic, road conditions, or accidents;
  • Incorrect pickup or drop-off details provided by the client; or
  • Mechanical issues or other circumstances beyond our control.
