American Town Car — Terms & Conditions / Reservation Agreement

Effective for all reservations and services provided by American Town Car, Inc.

📧 Cancellations & Changes

  • All cancellations and changes must be submitted via email to info@americantowncar.net or by calling 503-530-9199.
  • All accepted reservations are confirmed by email. If you do not receive a confirmation, your reservation is not valid. Please check your spam/junk folder and contact us if needed.

1. Meeting Your Driver at PDX Airport

Unless you’ve requested a Meet & Greet inside the terminal:

  1. Proceed to baggage claim and collect your luggage.
  2. Exit baggage claim and walk to Island 3, near the taxi line, outside the terminal.
  3. Look for your name displayed on the vehicle.

2. Airport Pickup — Waiting Time Policy

  • If you cannot find your driver, you must call our office within 45 minutes of landing.
  • If no contact is made within 45 minutes, a 100% no-show fee will apply.
  • ⚠️ Do not leave the airport without calling us to avoid no-show charges.

3. Extra Stops & Waiting Time Charges

Applies to all Flat Rate, Point-to-Point, and Airport Transfers

  • Extra stops start at $25.00; final cost depends on time, mileage, and vehicle type.
  • Non-airport pickups: First 15 minutes of waiting are free. After that:
  • Sedan: $2.50/min
  • SUV / Mercedes S-Class: $3.50/min
  • 14-Passenger Van: $4.50/min
  • After-hours surcharge: Minimum $25 for pickups or drop-offs between 10:30 PM and 5:30 AM.

4. Conduct & Damage Policy

  • The client is responsible for all guests and any damage to the vehicle.
  • Excessive cleaning (vomit, spills, etc.): Minimum $395 fee.
  • Misconduct or dangerous behavior may result in immediate termination of service with no refund.
  • Damage fees will be charged to the credit card on file after assessment.
  • All cleaning is performed by American Town Car; receipts are not provided.

5. Personal Belongings

  • We are not responsible for lost or left-behind items.
  • Call us immediately at 503-530-9199 and we will make every effort to assist in locating items.

6. Vehicle Substitution Policy

  • We reserve the right to upgrade or change your vehicle at our discretion to fulfill your reservation.
  • Please request specific vehicle types or accommodations at the time of booking.

7. Pets

  • All pets must be in a secured carrier.
  • Transporting pets without a carrier will incur a $295 cleaning fee.
  • No cleaning receipts are provided.

8. Smoking & Alcohol Policy

  • Smoking and alcohol consumption are strictly prohibited in all vehicles.
  • Violations will result in:
  • $500 sanitation fee
  • $2,500 minimum per burn or damage to carpet or seating

9. Rates & Payments

  • All services are subject to vehicle availability at the time of booking.
  • Full payment is required at the time of reservation.

  • Cancellations must be submitted by email to info@americantowncar.net.
  • Reservations made within the cancellation window are fully non-refundable.

11. Service Disclaimer

American Town Car is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Inclement weather
  • Traffic, road conditions, or accidents
  • Incorrect pickup/drop-off details
  • Mechanical issues or other circumstances beyond our control
